For the 8-pole synchronous motor, the stator is manufactured using single-slot winding, which ensures that precious materials like copper are used only where they provide real benefits, thus minimizing inefficiencies at the winding heads. “Our IE5+ motor combines energy efficiency with material efficiency, achieving a dual benefit for sustainability,” Niermann emphasizes. “This also applies to our DuoDrive, which integrates the IE5+ motor with a single-stage coaxial bevel gear in a single housing.”
